These are a great deck to have on hand for any occasion.
The tuck case is reminiscent of the kinds of designs you would think to find on embossed cowboy boots, saddles and belt buckles, not simple, but not complex either, a very pretty medium between those two poles. Faces have that western theme making it great for a games night playing Texas hold 'em and sipping whiskey, each court card unique and well thought out. Beautiful and simple back design. Cards are a nice medium stock, not thin, not thick, somewhere inbetween, making them quite durable. This makes fanning a bit difficult, but they pressure fan without much hassle. After a fair bit of use they can clump a bit, but not much after a good shuffle. Faro well and spring nicely. Not pricey for the quality and thought put into them.
In one sentence, this deck is a sort of jack of all trades, but not really a master of any, but can still do just about anything you'd want from it, so it is definitely my preferred deck to have on hand.
